Monsignor Tim Keeney will present a discussion of the Jewish Roots of Mary based on the Book by Dr. Brant Pitre. To understand why the Church teaches what she does about Mary, we have to understand the Jewish typology of which the Gospel writers and Saint Paul would have known inside and out. As always, everything that we teach about Mary is ultimately tied to what we teach about Jesus Christ. Mass will begin at 6:00 p.m. followed by a quick meal (pizza).
