The heart of our parish is the Eucharist. Mass is the central act of worship in the life of a Catholic. Going to Mass is about spending time with God, but also receiving his graces (inner strength to live the Christian life).

Our Lady of the Rosary parishioners bring the Eucharist to our parish members and other Catholics who are unable to join our community at Sunday Mass. The Eucharist Ministers may visit someone in their home or may conduct Communion services at residential care facilities. We are committed to serving our extended community: 

• Weekly, Eucharistic Ministers go to Crozet’s English Meadows and the Lodge, both senior residential communities, to conduct Communion Services for the Catholic residents. In addition, Eucharistic Ministers assist Msgr. Keeney and Father Dan when they celebrate Mass at the facilities (typically once or twice per month).  
• After Sunday Mass, Eucharistic Ministers take the Eucharist to the Homebound.
• During the pandemic and the dispensation addressing the obligation to attend Mass, our Eucharistic Ministers brought the Eucharist to those parishioners who requested an individual communion visitation
