With the power of over 350 people in-person and 750 on Zoom, we WON: Commitments to fund $3 million for new affordable housing and to study how to make that happen every year via the Charlottesville Affordable Housing Fund (CAHF). Commitments to get the County Affordable Housing Trust Fund to prioritize low-income families (families of four that make less than $46,850) and a study to fund it annually at $5 million. Commitments to get Charlottesville Area Transit (CAT) to 15-minute wait times by 2024 and to vote for a regional needs assessment for the rural areas.
