Our Lady of the Rosary has become a church partner with the local chapter of Love INC (In the Name of Christ), a national Christian social outreach ministry. Several Crozet and Charlottesville churches — Catholic, Episcopal, Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, and others — are also Love INC partners.


Love INC’s mission is to connect area churches relationally with neighbors in need. It acts as a clearinghouse by screening requests for help, verifying the need, and then referring the request to a local church ministry, church volunteer, or community agency. After an individual is helped, Love INC follows up to ensure the need was met and to offer continued spiritual support. 

OLR parishioners can offer their volunteer time and talents to the OLR/Love INC partnership in a variety of ways: prayer, helping at a neighbor’s home (repairs, yard work), providing transportation to appointments, grocery shopping, assisting in the Love INC office, donating needed items, participating in "Gap ministry” service  offered at many churches (laundry, clothing, personal care, closet organization), and more.
